The Constant Thread

Curiosity has always been my compass, guiding not just what I do, but who I am.

As a child, I could often be found stretched across my grandparents’ shag rug, flipping through hardbound encyclopedias, captivated by the wonders of the world. I played school. I read long into the night. I listened closely to my grandmother’s words, which still echo in my heart:

“No one can ever take your education or knowledge away.”

That simple truth shaped everything.

From Love of Learning to Leading Systems

I began my teaching career in New York City and Yonkers, where I worked with brilliantly diverse student groups whose resilience continues to guide my work today.

Since then, I’ve served as an Instructional Leader, Assistant Principal, Director of Reading and ENL, and most recently, Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum and Instruction.

For 25 years, I led the design and implementation of PreK–12 instructional frameworks and system-wide programs focused on elevating student experience and improving outcomes.

From writing PreK units to redesigning graduation pathways—and everything in between—I’ve had the privilege of learning and growing alongside exceptional students and educators.

Who I Am Today

Today, I partner with schools and districts to build high-functioning, human-centered systems where every learner and every educator can thrive.

I identify as a servant leader and thought partner, committed to:

  • Fostering resilient learning communities

  • Building trust-based teams with shared purpose

  • Supporting adult learning as the key to student growth

  • Helping schools align instruction, curriculum, mindset, and mission

Whether I’m designing a curriculum, coaching instructional leaders, or facilitating systems change, I lead with empathy, clarity, and a belief in what’s possible when we invest in people.

Why It Matters

By placing the social, emotional, and academic needs of our learners at the center of all we do, we commit to a culture of continuous improvement, grounded in empathy, equity, and hope.

Because when students are our greatest priority, and teachers are our greatest asset, we create schools where everyone has the opportunity to thrive.
